Vyasa Puja offering to Srila Prabhupada 2025

(view 2025 offerings by disciples)

Dear Śrīla Prabhupada,
Please accept my prostrated obeisances at your lotus feet.

When Sanātana Gosvāmī met Caitanya Mahāprabhu at Vārāṇasī, they shared an exchange that deeply relates to what you’ve done for me (Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Madhya 20.62–64):

My dear Sanātana, please hear from Me. Kṛṣṇa is very merciful, and He is the deliverer of all fallen souls.

My dear Sanātana, Kṛṣṇa has saved you from Mahāraurava, life’s deepest hell. He is an ocean of mercy, and His activities are very grave.

In the purport you relate that Caitanya Mahāprabhu thanked Kṛṣṇa for His mercy upon Sanātana. How extraordinary – Kṛṣṇa, as Lord Caitanya, thanking Kṛṣṇa for His magnanimity in setting Sanātana free.

Meditating on all I owe you I ponder: will my words, one day soon, ever convey the gratitude you deserve? You stopped my descent not only into “life’s deepest hell” but also into the lower species. My human form was surely lost. You masterfully salvaged this New York pseudo-enjoyer and Ivy League peacock from the global rubbish heap that poses as culture today.

Sanātana Gosvāmī’s remarkable response to Mahāprabhu I wholeheartedly embrace: “I do not know who Kṛṣṇa is. As far as I am concerned, I have been released from prison only by Your mercy.”

Because your boundless, steadfast compassion defied all odds, your apprentices and trainees can break free of the most severe penal servitude – no longer chained by lust, anger, greed, and envy – in the ultimate maximum-security prison that is the material nature.

Giving what far surpasses mere liberation, you grant the lowest the highest opportunity – to eagerly assist Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and thereby attain the rare service of the Divine Couple

(rādhā-kṛṣṇa prāṇa mora yugala-kiśora).

The impossible can be accomplished, by your divine grace.

Your servant,
Devamrita Swami
